Civil/Structural EngineerSpark Power is looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for developing and stamping Structural engineering packages for construction projects in the utilities, large commercial and industrial sectors. This is a very hands-on role, working directly with clients, our sales team and managers to answer technical questions and create proposed solutions. Must have hands on experience on Canadian design codes to complete designs of steel and/or concrete structures.</li><li>Achieved professional engineering status in Alberta or other province.</li><li>Must have a working knowledge and ability to use programs such as structural design software S-Frame &amp; drafting software AutoCAD and review software like Navisworks. Working knowledge on Micro-station will be an asset.</li><li>Familiarity with CSA, NBC, and provincial building codes and industry standards.</li><li>Must have industrial Canadian experience.
