You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, build standardized simulation and test tooling, validate end-to-end behaviors, and develop triage pipelines for issues discovered in simulation and on-vehicle testing. These efforts surface failure modes, regressions, and implementation bugs introduced by new features.</div><div><br></div><div>You will regularly participate in in-vehicle testing, analyze results, root-cause issues, and continuously improve testing processes to support Zoox’s growing milestones. Your ability to distill complex systems into actionable insights will be critical to delivering a safe and stable vehicle platform.</div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will: </h3><ul><li>Create test strategies and test plans for Zoox’s self-driving behavior features.</li><li>Identify, track, report, and resolve test strategy, planning, or implementation issues with cross-functional software development teams.</li><li>Propose, prototype, and validate a new testing methodology for the AI stack using automated metrics.</li><li>Design, develop, and execute synthetic and log-based test scenarios on an in-house simulation test framework.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications: </h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field</li><li>4+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable software systems test strategies with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills</li><li>Proficiency with automated test frameworks and test automation</li><li>Experience with JIRA, GIT, Linux command line, Python, or other scripting languages </li><li>Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications: </h3><ul><li>Relevant industry experience in software and systems testing for robotics, autonomous mobility, or safety-critical systems</li><li>Familiarity with ISO 26262 or other safety standards</li></ul><br><div><b>About Zoox</b></div><div>Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
