A successful candidate likely has prior experience with semiconductor equipment design or experience with plasma systems.</span></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design new microwave components and systems used for plasma enhanced CVD reactors and other tools used in the production of CVD diamond</li><li>Model the plasma and microwave behavior of reactor components in order to improve reactor designs and understanding</li><li>Develop diagnostics for reactor and plasma monitoring and control, implementing diagnostics in manufacturing</li><li>Architect and perform experiments to understand hardware impacts to plasma and diamond growth, specifically as it relates to microwave sources and components</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>At least 5 or more years of industry experience</li><li>PhD in engineering or applied physics and expertise in high-power, microwave frequency systems</li><li>Hands-on experience with RF/microwave equipment used in the test of microwave components and sources (VNAs, signal generators, diodes,  etc.)</li><li>Experience with high vacuum systems and plasma based devices</li><li>Proficiency in a full-wave electromagnetic design tool (HFSS, CST MWS, or COMSOL) and proficiency with other circuit design/layout tools.</li></ul><br><div>Diamond Foundry believes in supporting our employees from the workplace to their personal and home life.
