This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience within the Power Electronics Assembly (PEA) Manufacturing team.What You’ll Do:<ul><li>Support the Manufacturing team in bringing up production equipment &amp; processes for Power Electronics Assemblies in the Powertrain Pilot Manufacturing Lines</li><ul><li>Sub-Assemblies relevant to the Battery Pack, Electric Engine, &amp; Thrust Unit</li></ul><li>Own projects associated with a manufacturing process to:</li><ul><li>Improve efficiency, performance, and/or quality</li><li>Set up &amp; validate production tools &amp; equipment </li></ul><li>Assist in process development through data analysis, equipment development/fixture design, and specification development for purchased equipment/tools</li><li>Engage actively in problem-solving efforts, offering innovative solutions and troubleshooting issues as they come up</li><li>Work with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, operations, quality, design, and other engineering teams</li></ul>What You Need:<ul><li>Currently enrolled in a degree for Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field at an accredited university, preferably going into the 3rd or 4th year</li><li>Familiarization with CAD (Archer uses Siemens NX) &amp; GD&amp;T<ul><li>Some design experience, along with knowledge of prototype manufacturing methods such as 3D printing and basic machining</li></ul></li><li>Strong critical thinking skills<ul><li>Be adaptable, a quick learner, &amp; have a problem-solving attitude</li></ul></li><li>Strong organizational skills, technical writing abilities, project management, &amp; project documentation skills</li><li>Able to commit to a 10-week internship</li></ul>Bonus Qualifications:<ul><li>Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)</li><li>Familiar with AutoCAD and Minitab</li></ul> Summer 2026 Internship Program Details:<ul><li>This internship is a part of a 10-week full-time summer internship program opportunity.
