Our customers span a wide array of industries including aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, pharma, biotech, clean tech, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, food production, and industrial equipment.</p><h1><strong>Who we are looking for</strong></h1><p>The Composite Technician will be responsible for composite layup, trimming, drilling, sanding and other assembly tasks related to the production of aerospace components. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality composite fabrication that supports our continued innovation in aerospace manufacturing.</p><h2><strong>What you get to do</strong></h2><ul><li>Composite Layup: Prepare molds, apply and place composite materials following technical drawings and specifications.</li><li>Perform secondary bonding of components with epoxies and resins.</li><li>Vacuum bagging.</li><li>Trimming &amp; Cutting: Perform detailed trimming and cutting of composite materials using various tools to meet development and engineering specifications.</li><li>Drilling: Operate hand drills and other equipment to drill holes in composite parts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering drawings.</li><li>Tooling &amp; Molding: Set up and use jigs, fixtures, and molds for the assembly process.</li><li>Material Handling: Safely handle composite materials, resins, and adhesives, maintaining a clean and organized work area.</li><li>Quality Assurance: Carry out inspections and tests on composite assemblies, noting any discrepancies or defects according to set procedures.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, quality inspectors, and team members to improve processes and maintain high-quality output.</li></ul><h2><strong>What you bring to the Team</strong></h2><ul><li>Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.</li><li>Understanding of composite materials, resin systems, and adhesives.</li><li>Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Dexterity to handle small parts and tools.</li><li>Ability to work in environments that may require PPE.</li><li>High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, is required.</li><li>Technical or vocational training in composite technology or aerospace manufacturing is preferred.</li></ul><h2><strong>The BIG payoff</strong></h2><p>We are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.</p><p>Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!</p><p><strong>We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate</strong></p><p>Re:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
