We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Primary Partner assisting the Global Technical Leader, often assigned to strategic initiatives to enable a business unit to adopt company standards</li></ul><ul><li>Senior Consultancy for staff Engineering with regards to standardized procedures and workflows, tools and preferred suppliers</li><li>Creation of standard tools as directed by Global Technical Leader, for use by all global business units</li></ul><ul><li>Creating and managing a pipeline of Engineering standardization activities- Identifying opportunities to consolidate process software programs and part numbers across the global engineering groups</li></ul><ul><li>Keeping Xylem current on trends and new tools and practices for Automation</li><li>Liaison with Xylem India and engineering shared services to facilitate execution of Controls Engineering in projects and standard product programs</li><li>Schedule flexibility to support global commissioning of systems</li><li>Up to 15% travel may be required.</li></ul> Education/Experience<ul><li>BS in Electrical / Instrumentation &amp; Controls Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>10+ years foundational programming and architecting experience creating and using modular software structures such as ISA function blocks and faceplates</li><li>10+ years of experience with Siemens, Rockwell Automation and/or other globally recognized Control System suites</li><li>Experience in applying ISA standards to Control System implementation preferred</li><li>Experience and desire to create staff training resources, especially videos</li><li>Ability to provide technical guidance and remote troubleshooting to staff as they learn new techniques</li><li>Elite communication skill – the ability to document a solution so that all staff are able to implement with minimal guidance</li><li>Excellent organizational skills – stockpiling knowledge and solutions on behalf of the company</li><li>Strong leadership, organization and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>Guidance of OthersRole is defined as the Control Systems Engineering lead within Xylem and will be responsible for providing guidance, mentorship, and indirect management of the activities performed by global resources dedicated to Control System Engineering activities.  Strong communication skills and an innate ability to guide and mentor others is critical to success. Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
