The department is composed of three key functions, all of them are closely linked together and all team members will be trained to perform all key functions:  </div><div>documentation of our fee schedules, including the management of electronic agreements via third party industry systems  </div><div>(ii) maintenance of those fees into our systems and  </div><div>(iii) investigation of queries raised on our invoices. </div><div> </div><div>In addition to working with your colleagues in Brokerage and Accounts Receivable, and other teams within TP ICAP, this is a client facing role where you will interact directly with clients on brokerage related queries. As such it may be necessary for the successful candidate to work on a shift pattern, and potentially local public holidays, in accordance with the clients they manage, and appropriate deadlines. <div> </div><div><div>Role Responsibilities </div><div>Brokerage Management </div><div><ul><li>Provide central documentation for all brokerage rates  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure the proper documentation and storage of the agreed brokerage rates, adhering to company standards in terms of approval and governance, including the interaction with and management of documents (“Give Up Agreements”) within third party industry applications. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Respond to requests from customers, business, Chief Pricing Officer, other support departments and audit for new, amended or copies of current fee schedules or venue rate cards. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Notify appropriate personnel within the firm as well as customers of new/amended agreements. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Engage with relevant departments to automate the brokerage rates or ensure that a manual process is implemented. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Liaise with clients to follow up on their queries, send them relevant brokerage letters. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Brokerage Data Management </div><div><ul><li>Input brokerage fees in the relevant systems for new/ amended rates and discounts. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Perform 4 eyes checks for the new rates input and regular adhoc checks on discounts and rates to ensure reliability of our data. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Suggest technical enhancements to the systems and work towards centralisation of the brokerage rates. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Customer Investigation </div><div><ul><li>Ensure the effective and efficient management of trade investigations raised by clients following the review of their invoices, liaising with appropriate departments to solve them, as required. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Perform the brokerage checks requested by internal and external audit. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Track and analyse the transactions where brokerage has been input manually.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Suggest improvement to the systems and processes. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Design and implement reconciliations and MI/KPIs to support our business and evidence controls </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Ensure that processes are documented and, where possible, that processes are aligned, across business lines and entities </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Be responsible for the evolution of the function, and any improvements of processes </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Experience / Competences </div><div>Essential </div><div><ul><li>Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, possesses high organisation skills &amp; a proactive approach </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Demonstrates strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Highly effective written &amp; oral communication skills; adapts communication style to suit audience </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Shows evidence of being comfortable working in fast paced or pressured environments </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Skilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong data and analytical skills </li></ul></div><div> </div><div> Desired </div><div><ul><li>Experience in a finance or operations environment  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Knowledge of financial markets  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Previous experience in a similar organisation </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Knowledge of Databases and data structures </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Band &amp; Level – Professional, 4</div></div>#LI-Hybrid #LI-ENT</div>Not The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
