We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>What you’ll do:<ul><li>Maintain Archer’s integrated lab environments supporting validation and verification activities, handling quality evaluations, human factor evaluations and test pilot familiarization.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with internal groups and suppliers to integrate, instrument and maintain configuration of simulation models in a real-time integrated hardware-in-the-loop environment </li><li>Build simulation models of systems and integrate them into the overall framework.</li><li>Design and build graphical user interfaces to control the real-time simulation environment.</li><li>Assist in the execution of test plans and test automation.</li></ul>What you need:<ul><li>3+ years of experience in a related field.</li><li>Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.</li><li>Experience building and developing for a COTS HIL platform (NI, dSPACE, etc)</li><li>Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and Python.</li><li>Experience developing models of physical systems based on requirements.</li><li>Solid understanding of communication standards and protocols (RS-422/485, CAN/CAN-FD, ARINC-429, Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB etc…)</li><li>Experience prototyping Graphical User Interfaces based on user feedback.</li><li>Solid understanding of standard software development tools:</li><ul><li>Continuous integration - TeamCity / Jenkins / Artifactory</li><li>Version control - SVN / Git / Bitbucket</li><li>Issue tracking - Jira / Zendesk / MantisBT</li></ul><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills.</li></ul>Bonus qualifications<ul><li>Experience developing real-time software for a Hardware-in-the-Loop aircraft simulator.</li><li>Proficiency in the NI software suite (LabVIEW, VeriStand).</li><li>Experience automating and executing test plans.</li><li>Familiarity with fault injection methodologies.</li><li>Proficiency in C\C++ or other low-level languages.</li><li>Experience with model based development using Matlab/Simulink.</li><li>Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers.</li><li>Experience with Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) or multi-projector technologies.</li><li>Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools.</li><li>Experience supporting FHA evaluations.</li><li>Familiarity with or a passion for aviation.</li></ul>At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
