Work Hours:  Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Job Description:<ul><li>Utilize ERP system to determine needed parts from suppliers.<ul><li>Utilize ERP outputs to release orders and adjust as needed.</li><li>Ensure all orders are confirmed by the supplier</li><li>Maintain proactive communication with suppliers</li><li>Ensure supplier delivery commitments are met</li></ul></li><li>Monitor supplier performance and proactively escalate any concerns accordingly</li><li>Maintain ERP system (safety stock calculations, lead times, part history) at the discretion of the SR. Buyer</li><li>Perform daily review of critical inventory levels</li><li>Work with material analyst on cycle count issues to determine root cause and corrective actions</li><li>Coordinate supply chain related projects with the guidance of Sr Buyer / Manager,</li><li>Collaborate with suppliers on expected demand</li><li>Support Billing resolution with suppliers</li><li>Compile and distribute reports at the prescribed schedule</li></ul> Education and Experience:<ul><li>High School education</li><li>2+ years of Supply Chain or Materials Management experience preferred.</li><li>Skilled in use of planning logic (e.g. ERP, advanced planning systems), MS Office required</li><li>Strong Excel skills preferred</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>High attention to detail</li><li>Collaboration skills</li><li>Problem solving and analytical skills</li></ul> Essential Functions:<ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.</li><li> Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine needs.</li><li>Daily communication with suppliers.</li><li>May require travel.</li></ul> Other Duties:Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.  Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice. </div>
