As a working student, you’ll learn from experienced engineers, work with cutting-edge tools, and have the opportunity to shape how we build and operate reliable software systems.</p><h2>Tasks</h2><ul><li><strong>Work closely with senior engineers</strong> to learn best practices while supporting daily DevOps operations. </li><li>Support in <strong>maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines</strong> (GitHub/GitLab), ensuring smooth and automated software delivery.</li><li>Assist in <strong>managing containerized environments</strong> (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud services, with a focus on <strong>AWS</strong> (Azure optional).</li><li>Contribute to <strong>monitoring, logging, and alerting systems</strong> to improve reliability and observability.</li><li>Participate in <strong>incident handling and troubleshooting</strong> under the guidance of senior engineers.</li><li>Collaborate closely with developers to <strong>streamline deployments and improve developer experience</strong>.</li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li>You are currently enrolled in a <strong>Bachelor’s or Master’s program</strong> in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>First hands-on experience with <strong>Linux, Docker, AWS</strong>, and CI/CD tools (<strong>GitHub/GitLab</strong>).</li><li>Basic knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., <strong>Python, PHP, Bash, Java</strong>)</li><li>Interest in topics like <strong>automation, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and reliability engineering</strong>.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work in a team.</li><li>Communication: <strong>fluent English</strong> required; German is a plus.</li></ul><h2>Benefits</h2><ul><li><strong>17 €/h</strong></li><li>Flexible working hours and a hybrid setup</li><li>A modern open space workplace, flat hierarchies, and an open atmosphere with quick decisions.</li><li>You can participate in regular company events and employee discounts in our own V-Lounge.</li><li>We attach great importance to combining "employee satisfaction", "environmental responsibility", "growth and profitability" and "customer orientation".</li></ul>
