The candidate must have experience in preparing and drafting engineering drawings using AutoCAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards.<ul><li>Prepare engineering drawings and designs using AutoCAD software.</li><li>Help the engineering team in creating and updating project documents.</li><li>Make sure drawings are accurate and follow approved standards.</li><li>Keep records of all drawings and any changes made.</li><li>Check drawings for mistakes and fix them if needed.</li><li>Work with engineers and site teams to understand design requirements.</li><li>Turn hand sketches or old drawings into AutoCAD digital files.</li><li>Submit drawings on time and follow project deadlines.</li></ul>With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.Suitable applicants will have/be:<ul><li>Tertiary Qualifications: Diploma in Civil from a recognized technical institute or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 7 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years in drafting engineering drawings/designs using AutoCAD software.</li><li>Certificate in AutoCAD software operation.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to technical specifications.</li></ul>SMEC is an equal opportunity employer.
