We’re a fast-growing, tech-driven startup with an international team committed to bringing trust, transparency, and efficiency to agricultural trade.</p><p>As we continue to scale, building an outstanding employee experience is essential—and that’s where you come in.</p><h2>Your challenge</h2><p>As a <strong>People &amp; Culture Intern</strong>, you will play an active role across the full HR lifecycle and contribute to making E-FARM an exceptional place to work. You’ll support both operational HR tasks and culture initiatives while learning how HR works inside a fast-growing scale-up.  </p><h2>Recruiting &amp; Talent Acquisition</h2><ul><li>Define hiring targets together with founders and team leads</li><li>Support creating/optimizing job profiles</li><li>Screen applications and shortlist candidates</li><li>Conduct first-round interviews and coordinate next steps</li><li>Maintain clear communication with candidates and stakeholders</li></ul><h2>People Operations</h2><ul><li>Facilitate onboarding &amp; offboarding processes</li><li>Complete daily HR administrative tasks (contracts, documentation, letters, etc.)</li><li>Keep employee records organized and up to date in <strong>Personio</strong></li><li>Ensure compliance with internal processes and HR standards</li><li>Serve as the go-to person for everyday employee questions or issues</li></ul><h2>Culture &amp; Employee Experience</h2><ul><li>Organize team gatherings, internal events, and office rituals</li><li>Support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and team cohesion</li><li>Help maintain a positive “feel-good” atmosphere in the office</li><li>Contribute ideas to improve our culture, communication, and ways of working</li><li>Promote E-FARM’s values in everything you do</li></ul><h2>Your profile</h2><ul><li>Enrolled at a non-German <strong>Erasmus+ university</strong> (ideally near graduation)</li><li>Available for <strong>at least 6 months</strong> in Hamburg</li><li>Fluent in <strong>English</strong> (German is a plus)</li><li>Strong communication skills and interpersonal empathy</li><li>Critical HR judgement and a high sense of confidentiality &amp; professionalism</li><li>Confident and comfortable interacting with candidates and colleagues</li><li>Proactive, well-organized, and motivated to take ownership</li><li>Bonus: Familiarity with HR tools (e.g., <strong>Personio</strong>) or event organization experience</li></ul><h2>Our proposition</h2><ul><li><strong>€1,000/month</strong> on top of your Erasmus+ grant</li><li>Hands-on experience across recruiting, HR operations, and company culture</li><li>Involvement in real HR processes—not just observing</li><li>Mentorship from experienced People &amp; Culture professionals</li><li>A modern, centrally located office in Hamburg</li><li>A diverse, international team and regular team events</li><li>A mission-driven scale-up environment with room to grow</li><li>Potential full-time career path after your internship</li></ul>
