You bring deep experience in corporate strategy, M&amp;A, and capital raising within a hard-tech or clean energy business and thrives in fast-paced, capital-intensive environments.You will work onsite at our Natick, MA office, reporting into the Chief Financial Officer.Primary ResponsibilitiesCorporate Strategy &amp; Growth<ul><li>Lead corporate development strategy aligned with long-term growth, commercialization, and market expansion goals</li><li>Evaluate and build strategic programs including partnerships, joint ventures, M&amp;A, and asset acquisitions</li><li>Conduct market, competitive, and financial analyses to inform executive and Board decision-making</li><li>Identify inorganic growth opportunities that accelerate deployment, reduce risk, or improve unit economic</li></ul>Equity and Debt Capital Markets<ul><li>Investor narrative and equity story</li><li>Pitch deck development and data room readiness</li><li>Financial models, valuation analysis, scenario planning</li><li>Support investor diligence, Q&amp;A, and ongoing relationship management</li><li>Coordinate with legal, finance, and external advisors (banks, investors, counsel) to manage transaction closing</li><li>Partner with CFO to lead debt, project financing, and other capital markets efforts</li><li>Manage relationship and all activities with lenders and advisors for existing credit facilities, including corporate debt and equipment financing</li><li>Lead all amendments, facility draws and ongoing reporting, partnering with rest of finance organization</li><li>Build integrated capital strategy, including the different types of available financing, to promote our efficient growth</li></ul>M&amp;A, Partnerships and Transactions<ul><li>Lead a team overseeing end-to-end transaction execution for acquisitions, investments and partnerships, including: sourcing, valuation, diligence, negotiation, and integration planning</li><li>Structure and negotiate strategic partnerships, offtake agreements, and joint ventures</li><li>Build repeatable processes for transaction evaluation and approval</li></ul>Board &amp; Executive Support<ul><li>Prepare materials for Board meetings, investment committees, and strategic reviews</li><li>Provide clear, data-driven insights to executive leadership on capital allocation and growth trade-offs</li><li>Be the trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team</li></ul>Cross-Functional Leadership<ul><li>Work with Finance, Legal, Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Operations teams</li><li>Align corporate development projects with product roadmap, deployment timelines, and regulatory constraints</li><li>Help scale internal capabilities and processes as we grow</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Master of Business Administration</li><li>10+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or strategy consulting</li><li>Direct experience leading growth-stage fundraising (Series C/D or later)</li><li>Financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution skills</li><li>Experience in clean energy, climate tech, infrastructure, or capital-intensive technology businesses</li><li>Experience working with senior executives, Boards, and external investors</li><li>Prior operating experience at a venture-backed startup</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience implementing M&amp;A or strategic partnerships in energy, infrastructure, or industrial technology</li><li>Familiarity with project finance, tax equity, or structured finance in energy markets</li></ul>Compensation and Benefits l M5#LI-Onsite<div><div><div>Natick Zone</div><div>$197,000—$235,000 USD</div></div></div><div>Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package.
