Responsibilities / TasksThis role is responsible for driving profitable LPT service growth in Malaysia by developing strong customer relationships, executing service sales strategies, and proactively promoting GEA service solutions across the installed base.<ul><li>Drive and grow LPT service revenue and margin in Malaysia in a consistent and sustainable manner.</li><li>Deliver service sales KPIs including order intake, gross margin, digital products and individual performance targets.</li><li>Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers in Malaysia.</li><li>Develop and execute Key Account Management strategies for major and long-term customers, including stakeholder mapping, OPEX planning, and maintenance strategy alignment.</li><li>Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction across all service touchpoints.</li><li>Actively promote the full range of GEA service offerings, including first service offers, spare parts packages, service agreements, audits, training, service digital products, and upgrades.</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely updates of CRM pipelines, business plans, and sales forecasts.</li><li>Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives within service sales.</li><li>Collaborate closely with remote service support and field service teams in Singapore and Indonesia.</li><li>Attend customer sites as required to support field service activities, with remote guidance from specialists when needed.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsProfessional Requirements: <ul><li>Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the service business.</li><li>Technical sales experience in process engineering systems (e.g. spray drying, powder handling, packing, liquid processing) within the food and dairy industry is an advantage.</li><li>Proven B2B service sales experience for complex processing lines, including costing, commercial negotiations, and frontline sales execution.</li><li>Experience in Key Account Management or similar roles is a plus.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.</li><li>Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English.</li><li>Proficiency in Mandarin and Malay is an advantage.</li></ul>Personal Profile:<ul><li>Self-driven and able to operate independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Commercially minded, service-oriented, and results-focused.</li><li>Strong sense of ownership and accountability.</li><li>Team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Analytical, structured, and capable of solving problems through pragmatic and adaptive approaches.</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.</li><li>Motivated to continuously learn and develop professionally.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest? Service Sales Engineer
