We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.</div><div><br></div><div>We are seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the facility infrastructure, utility systems, and critical support projects in our single-crystal diamond singulation operations in Zaragoza, Spain. <span style="font-size:13.3333px;">As a Facilities Manager you would be responsible for overseeing the upkeep, repair, and new additions to the facility.  Your role would involve managing a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring equipment reliability and performance, and optimizing equipment utilization to meet production goals and 100% Facilities uptime. </span>This role involves projects related to process cooling water, UPS, HVAC, ultra-high-purity gas distribution, clean room, and electrical infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted, efficient, and high-tech manufacturing operations. </div><div><br></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead a team of engineers and technicians, setting performance expectations, providing coaching and mentoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, maintenance, quality, and safety, to ensure smooth operation of equipment and alignment with production goals. </li><li>Ensure equipment reliability, availability, and performance through regular maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Following Standard Operating Procedures and performing preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.</li><li>Manage equipment-related budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. Collaborating with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize equipment procurement, inventory management, and spare parts availability.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable local regulations and standards related to equipment safety, quality, and environmental requirements. Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to equipment operation and maintenance. Implementing safety measures and protocols to protect employees and ensure safe equipment operation.</li><li>Collaborate with equipment vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment, spare parts, and services. Managing relationships with vendors and evaluating their performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and at least 5 years of work experience as a Manager in high-tech manufacturing facilities.</li><li>Strong understanding of semiconductor Fab utility systems, including any of the following: uninterrupted power supply (UPS), process cooling water (PCW), UHP gas distribution, deionized (DI) water, clean room, compressed dry air (CDA), and HVAC systems.</li><li>Experience with construction, expansions, and modifications.
