This individual will leverage a deep understanding of utility procurement, regulatory processes, and corporate buyer dynamics to anticipate challenges, influence decision-making, and drive partnerships that go beyond traditional PPAs. RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Act as a strategic facilitator for origination and execution of framework agreements with utilities and corporate energy buyers.</li><li>Serve as an internal advisor and problem solver, recommending alternative approaches when regulatory, procurement, or planning hurdles arise.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategies align with counterpart procurement, IRP, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Monitor regulatory, policy, and market developments to anticipate approval challenges and adjust strategies proactively.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with utilities, regulators, and other key stakeholders to position the company as a trusted partner.</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>7–10+ years of experience in the U.S. energy sector, with exposure to utility procurement, regulatory affairs, or large-scale origination.</li><li>Direct experience with utility RFPs, contract negotiations, and regulatory filings (e.g., PUCs) strongly preferred.</li><li>Deep understanding of IOU and corporate buyer processes, including procurement, IRP alignment, and regulatory approvals.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to translate counterpart organizational challenges into actionable solutions.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal functions.</li><li>Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Prior experience working inside an IOU procurement, resource planning, or regulatory team.</li><li>Background in regulatory affairs, energy policy, or external affairs related to renewable development.</li><li>Strong professional network with IOUs, regulators, and policy stakeholders.</li></ul> COMPENSATION: $180,000 to $210,000 Salary  Attention external recruitment firms, we will not accept any unsolicited resumes at this time.
