AECOM is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector in our Baltimore office for a variety of infrastructure projects throughout the BALTIMORE METRO AREA. Typical assignments may include water and wastewater projects, erosion and sediment control inspection, stormwater facilities inspection, and other projects.<ul><li>Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties</li><li>Participates in pre-construction meetings, punch list preparation, testing, and commissioning</li><li>Relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals</li><li>Responsible for setting own project deadlines</li><li>Provides on-the-job training to new employees</li><li>Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records</li><li>Tracks quality assurance progress</li><li>Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers</li><li>Frequent traveling to field locations. Locations and distances vary</li><li>Frequent outdoor work in a variety of seasonal weather conditions</li><li>Daily walking several miles to perform job duties. Frequently across outdoor construction environments with a variety of uneven terrains such as mud, rock, grass, dirt and other unpaved terrains and variable outdoor conditions including heat, cold, dust, and noise</li><li>Conducts thorough inspections of wastewater treatment facilities, including pumping stations, pipelines, and related infrastructure</li><li>Verifies compliance with environmental regulations and permits related to wastewater management</li><li>Collaborates with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve construction-related issues and ensure project success</li><li>Prepares detailed inspection reports, including photographic documentation and recommendations for corrective actions</li><li>Stays current with industry standards, technological advancements, and best practices in wastewater construction and inspection techniques</li><li>Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning. </li><li>Tracks quality assurance progress</li><li>Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.</li></ul>
