You must be comfortable making dozens of daily calls, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and setting appointments.</p><p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls, emails, and text messaging.</li><li>Provide technical information about solar power, solar systems, equipment, and services to potential customers</li><li>Gather information from prospective customers to identify their solar energy needs.</li><li>Provide customers with information, such as quotes, orders, sales, warranties, credit, funding options, incentives, or tax rebates.</li><li>Qualify, convert, and follow the current process for scheduling appointments for outside sales teams.</li><li>Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure</li><li>Complete daily confirmations, and follow-up communication with outside reps</li><li>Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest</li><li>Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory</li><li>Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Track record of over-achieving quota</li><li>Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day</li><li>Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools</li><li>Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong listening and presentation skills</li><li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>A high school diploma or equivalent is required</li><li>Proven inside sales experience</li><li>Solar experience preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong> *In Office Position*</p><p>Fast-paced, open floor office environment with significant computer and phone usage. Utilization of complex systems. Speed and accuracy are essential to the successful completion of tasks.</p><p>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regular requirement to talk, or hear; frequent requirement to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
