Your mission is to ensure seamless, efficient processes with customer satisfaction at the forefront. In this role, you’ll shape strategies, streamline workflows, and champion a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This is your opportunity to make a measurable impact on performance, innovation, and IPEX’s commitment to delivering world-class supply chain solutions.</p><h3></h3><h3><b>Principal Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li>Lead with purpose: Oversee daily distribution operations to achieve service and quality goals.</li><li>Prioritize safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards for employees, contractors, and carriers.</li><li>Develop talent: Build and inspire a high-performing team through coaching, goal setting, and performance reviews.</li><li>Optimize resources: Manage scheduling, timecard approvals, and workforce planning.</li><li>Drive results: Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to boost productivity and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Maintain accuracy: Oversee inventory control through physical counts and system reconciliation.</li><li>Manage budgets: Prepare annual budgets, track expenditures, and analyze variances.</li><li>Collaborate effectively: Partner with transportation, procurement, production, and customer service teams.</li><li>Ensure compliance: Adhere to internal standards, regulatory requirements, and programs such as C-TPAT.</li><li>Champion improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives and propose innovative solutions.</li><li>Protect assets: Maintain facilities and equipment through proactive maintenance and repairs.</li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></h3><ul><li>Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.</li><li>3–5 years of leadership experience in distribution or logistics (union environment experience is an asset).</li><li>Strong bilingual communication skills (English and French).</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office; experience with RF systems and SAP is an asset.</li><li>Proven ability to lead teams, manage processes, and analyze data effectively.</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.</li></ul><p></p><p><span>IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
