Aspiration is hiring a Sr. Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy, planning, and execution. Reporting into the Sr. Director, Marketing, this role will be the driving voice behind our digital community, inspiring environmental activism and raising our brand awareness & affinity. Through consistent reporting, measurement, and analysis, you will continually improve our approach while adhering to brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will be a creative, detail-oriented team player with a passion for fighting climate change.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute a best-in-class social strategy that tells the story of our brand while driving towards reach and engagement.
Lead day-to-day efforts in ideation and execution, optimizing for growth and engagement across each channel.
Define and meet KPIs for channel growth, engagement rate, and positive sentiment.
Own the posting strategy, social media calendar, and align with the marketing team to ensure key messaging is communicated.
Write thumb-stopping copy that inspires our audience to save, share, and comment.
Oversee creative development with the design team to ensure content is both engaging and aligns with our brand.
Partner with the Sr. Manager, Marketing to optimize influencer content for organic posts.
Analyze and report social channel performance to quantify effectiveness of social media strategy and apply learnings.
Stay on the pulse of digital marketing trends, culture, and key climate change and finance events.
Collaborate with platforms like Meta, Twitter, TikTok, etc. to ensure Aspiration is adopting the latest product features and best practices.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or a related field
6+ years of experience in the social media industry (environmental activism or fintech a plus)
Impressive track record of growing audiences and delivering on social engagement metrics
Deep experience with organic posting on social platforms like Meta, Twitter, TikTok, & LinkedIn, etc. and familiarity with paid social buying and optimization
Strong writing, grammar, and editorial skills as well as an eye for great design
Innovative ideas and the ability to follow through
Willingness to work outside normal office hours as needed.
