Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Lead and guide junior application engineer to achieve AE value in technical support responsibilities.</li><li>Familiar with and understand the application of technical knowledge and customer needs, follow the technical development trend and summarize.</li><li>Be a competent partner for customers, provide advice and support together or in co-ordination with outside sales.</li><li>Support to OEM management, drive target local OEM certification efforts and ensure industry leading competitiveness.</li><li>Work on qualified value selling arguments to support sales and customers, initiate tests.</li><li>Write call reports on important customer visits and market trends and pass them on to the Manager of the department.</li><li>Coordinate local and global activities in this expertise.</li><li>Write success stories, cost benefit analysis and technical articles.</li><li>Generate product ideas related to selected application, initiate and support of new product development or further development of existing products according the innovation process.</li><li>Draw up requirement profiles for new products or products that need modifying.</li><li>Solve customer problems and achieve customer requirements with existing products or new developments.</li><li>Introduce new products in the market and carry out trials at customers.</li><li>Support sales team to acquire new customers by broad and systematic ground work and well-aimed targeting of competitors’ business.</li><li>Determine market potentials and target groups, find and develop new applications and markets.</li><li>Preparation of Trainings, Presentations, Technical Articles, Product Information, brochures etc. </li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering, chemistry or relevant major;</li><li>Proven skills in troubleshooting in the field, and hands-on engineering experience;</li><li>Determined working attitude, ability to work in a team, convincing negotiation skills;</li><li>Good communication and mentoring skills both in English and Chinese;</li><li>Strong technical knowledge, especially of machine elements;</li><li>Sales-oriented mindset, open, sociable and leadership qualities;</li><li>Willing to travel and stay away to overnight;</li><li>Willing to promote and service high-quality products; </li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
