About the roleThe primary purpose of a lab technician is to perform tests, experiments, and analyses in a laboratory. Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Collect and test soil, concrete, aggregate, and water samples to determine material properties, ensuring compliance with LGED and project specifications</li><li>Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment, adhering to safety procedures and environmental regulations</li><li>Perform both laboratory and on-site testing, providing technical support during construction activities as required</li><li>Accurately document test results and prepare detailed reports for engineers and supervisors</li></ul>Key Requirements<ul><li>Diploma in Civil Engineering</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in similar field</li><li>Knowledge of relevant standards and specifications (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO, BS)</li></ul>We value equity, diversity and inclusion and are committed to creating a work environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging and is empowered to do their best.
