Here are some of the perks and rewards:<ul><li>Generous benefits package (including but not limited to pension plan, bonus scheme, and Life Assurance)</li><li>Generous holiday entitlement, with the option to ‘buy’ or ‘sell’</li><li>A focus on continued personal development</li><li>Paid time off work for volunteering in the community</li><li>Access to our Employee Assistance Programme, which helps promote and support a healthy lifestyle</li></ul>What you’ll do:<ul><li>Deliver repairs and overhauls on time, to specification and budget — plan jobs, control costs, and ensure both individual work orders and overall department targets are met.</li><li>Enforce safety and quality standards across all activities — follow and promote safe working practices and complete ISO-standard test and evaluation reports for refurbished/repaired generators.</li><li>Own equipment upkeep and preparedness — perform total maintenance tasks, manage preventative schedules, and ensure required tools are available and in working order.</li><li>Maintain materials and failure documentation — control stock levels of consumables/parts, record component failures, and produce clear fault and repair reports with recommended corrective actions.</li><li>Support and grow the team — provide hands-on assistance, mentor and train service crew members, and contribute to continuous improvement to maximise equipment reliability.</li></ul>You’ll have the following skills and experience:<ul><li>Educated to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering/mechanical subject (can include apprenticeship).</li><li>Experience servicing and repairing large engines (generators, HGV, plant equipment, agricultural machinery).</li><li>Good organisational and communication skills.</li><li>Good level of PC literacy, including basic MS Office applications.</li><li>Well-organised and capable of keeping a vehicle to GSCS standards.</li></ul>Bring your energy.
