And that’s where you come in.Brief task description <ul><li>The Project Procurement Manager (PPM) may lead one or several Procurement Projects and/or Procurement Bids</li><li>The PPM is accountable for end to end Procurement Strategy of a Project / Bid</li><li>The PPM is expected to lead and drive Project Procurement Strategy, involving Category Managers, Category Buyers and other Procurement players from all Participating Units</li><li>The PPM identifies and establish saving targets for the Work Packages, while managing Risk and Opportunities</li><li>Furthermore, the PPM might address one or several Categories from an end to end Procurement Process</li><li>In the Bid phase, the PPM will lead the procurement team and consolidate Procurement costs, while identifying Risk and Opportunities</li></ul>Missions and responsibilities <ul><li>Own relationship with internal stakeholders and drive Procurement Project Strategy;</li><li>Conduct opportunity analysis, spend and risk management</li><li>Work closely with Project Management function to ensure alignment of Procurement deliverables with Project Business needs</li><li>Prepare and follow up on Project Procurement Plan</li><li>Ensure that Hitachi e-Acquisition and all Hitachi procurement tools are fully used</li><li>Perform make or buy analysis together with the team</li><li>Execute end to end Procurement Process for the category, if requested</li></ul>Work Experience Requirements <ul><li>Business school or Engineering degree</li><li>Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or Engineering accreditations are desirable</li><li>5+ years’ experience in Procurement: Category and /or Projects</li><li>Extensive experience in Procurement Strategy is mandatory</li><li>Previous experience working with contracts and contract negotiation knowhow are desirable</li><li>Previous experience in Project Management is nice to have</li><li>Previous experience working in a matrix organization desirable</li><li>Ability to implement and follow up on Procurement Strategy, while reporting progress + Risk and Opportunities</li><li>Knowledge of Procurement specific tools - TCO, Nego planner, Risk &amp; Opportunity</li><li>Advanced Excel skills, good knowledge of Power Point</li><li>Manage various Procurement specific tools -increased complexity</li><li>Ability to implement and follow up on Procurement Strategy, while reporting progress + Risk and Opportunities</li><li>Knowledge of Procurement specific tools - TCO, Nego planner, Risk &amp; Opportunity</li><li>Advanced Excel skills, good knowledge of Power Point</li><li>Manage various Procurement specific tools -increased complexity</li></ul>Personal competencies: <ul><li>"Can do" attitude and sense of ownership</li><li>Persuasion and influencing skills</li><li>Accuracy and attention to details</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Good verbal communication skills</li></ul>Languages: Italian and EnglishThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
