We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>What you’ll do (Basic Duties): <ul><li>Work closely with design teams (Archer &amp; supplier) to provide manufacturing input during initial design stages</li><li>Drive DFM and DFA assessments </li><li>Interface with supplier base, driving tooling design and manufacturing readiness reviews</li><li>Support supplier process development, travel to supplier(s)</li><li>Encourage collaboration and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders, bridging gap between manufacturing, quality, and design</li></ul>What you need:<ul><li>6+ years of experience in aerospace engineering (design, mfg eng. tooling design, etc), composite and metallic experience preferred</li><li>Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)</li><li>Proven track record of driving DFX principles for complex composite part and assembly development</li><li>Proficiency in 3D CAD Software (NX preferred)</li><li>Experience using Fibersim or Composite Workbench</li><li>Practical application of GD&amp;T and real life execution of inspection processes</li></ul>Bonus Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with various composite inspection techniques, M&amp;P standards and test equipment</li><li>Driven to solve complex problems and implement simple solutions</li><li>Passion for aviation and eVTOLs</li></ul>At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
