AECOM is seeking a Deputy Planning and Engineering Director for one of our offices in Sacramento, CA. This role ensures consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance of engineering design documents while providing strategic guidance on environmental policies in alignment with federal and state requirements. The Director collaborates closely with Construction and Rail Operations to develop system-wide policies and oversee the design of station areas and alignments.<ul><li>Assisting the front-end elements of construction projects, ensuring smooth execution from conception through design and construction</li><li>Support the development, maintain, and enforce engineering design guidance documents, including design criteria, technical specifications, and engineering management plans</li><li>Provide strategic environmental guidance, maintaining compliance with environmental regulations and assisting with necessary federal and state approvals for construction projects</li><li>Collaborate with the Construction and Rail Operations Offices to develop and implement systems-related policies, including those related to integration and system certification</li><li>Support the design, planning, and commercial development of station areas, alignments, and support all construction-related inquiries</li><li>Supporting the finishing checkpoint to collaborate on all infrastructure engineering issues, ensuring designs meet the requirements and standards​</li></ul>
