Construction experience is a must, as well as a background in roofing and electrical. Don't miss out on the opportunity to join this incredible team.</p><h3><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Assemble the solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative equipment.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.</li><li>Complete projects within established policies and procedures.</li><li>Complete projects within time frames and budgets.</li><li>Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety.</li><li>Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability.</li></ul><h3><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Ability to work as part of a team</li><li>Ability to follow instructions</li><li>Excellent customer service</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to use hand and power tools</li><li>Proficient math skills to calculate the amount of materials needed</li><li>Ability to use ION technology, such as Paycom, FieldPro, Salesforce, and smartphones</li><li>Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report</li></ul><h3><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>More than 1 year of previous construction experience is required in electrical, roofing, or framing.</li><li>Solar experience is preferred</li><li>Electrical and roofing experience preferred as well as experience bending EMT conduit.</li><li>OSHA compliance</li></ul><h3><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></h3><ul><li>Must be able to work at heights.</li><li>Physically able to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.</li><li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time</li><li>Must use earplugs around loud equipment and wear gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.</li></ul><h3><strong>Compensation/Benefits:</strong></h3><ul><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Health/Vision/Dental insurance</li><li>401K</li><li>Paid time off and paid holidays</li><li>Paid birthday off</li></ul><p> </p><span style="color:#7f8c8d;">ION Solar is an equal opportunity employer.
