We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>What You’ll Do<ul><li>Perform Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and margin analysis on control and measurement circuits, including microcontrollers, resolver interfaces, PMICs, power trees, voltage/current sensors, and digital communications (CAN, SPI, etc).</li><li>Conduct circuit simulations using SPICE and MATLAB to validate designs across component tolerances, temperature extremes, and voltage variations.</li><li>Lead Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for control and sensor boards, working cross-functionally with Safety and Reliability teams to identify and mitigate risks.</li><li>Analyze effects of single-event upsets and latch-ups on critical system functionality.</li><li>Perform electrical stress analysis and component derating analysis. </li><li>Support the design team with analytical validation of power management architectures, sensor interfaces, and MCU-based control circuits.</li><li>Collaborate with hardware, controls, firmware, safety, and reliability teams to ensure designs meet aerospace performance and certification requirements.</li><li>Generate analysis reports and technical documentation to support design reviews and DO-254/DO-160 compliance.</li></ul>What You Need<ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field</li><li>5+ years of experience in circuit analysis and simulation for mixed-signal control systems</li><li>Proven expertise conducting WCCA, DFMEA, and margin analysis on MCU-based boards, sensor interfaces, or power management systems</li><li>Proficiency with SPICE simulation tools (PSpice, LTSpice, HSPICE) and MATLAB/Simulink</li><li>Strong understanding of MCU control circuits, analog sensor interfaces (resolvers, voltage/current sensors), PMICs, power sequencing, and component derating principles</li><li>Experience working cross-functionally with Safety and Reliability teams on risk assessment</li><li>Understanding of DO-254, DO-160, or similar aerospace/automotive safety standards</li><li>Excellent analytical and communication skills in multidisciplinary environments</li></ul>Bonus Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with aerospace or automotive electrical systems analysis</li><li>Hands-on experience with DO-254 development and DO-160G testing</li><li>Experience with high-voltage power electronics for battery, motor, or inverter systems</li><li>Proficiency with analysis automation (Python, MATLAB scripting)</li><li>Passion for aviation and eVTOLs</li></ul>At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
