This is a full-time position that will report to Manager of Taxation. The position will perform a full range of federal, state, and international tax functions including tax provision, compliance, sales &amp; use and property tax.Core Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in the preparation of the U.S. federal and state/local income and franchise tax returns, extensions, and estimates and process related tax payments.</li><li> Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of U.S. tax forms relating to international entities including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865 and 926.</li><li> Participate in the year-end provision process, including review of international tax provision reporting packages and performing US tax provision tasks.</li><li> Assist in maintaining and reconciling tax fixed assets and depreciation</li><li> Assist in researching routine tax issues</li><li> Respond to notices from tax authorities</li><li> Assist with tax audits</li><li> Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns and business license returns</li><li> Prepare personal property tax returns</li></ul>Critical Competencies:<ul><li> Technical/Functional Expertise: Demonstrating basic technical knowledge of federal and state tax rules with a general understanding of financial accounting.</li><li> Dependability/Reliability: Following through on commitments, producing timely work to required –or higher – standards and pitching-in to get the job done.</li><li> Planning/Organization: Prioritizing and managing tasks to meet deadlines; managing multiple  projects and tasks simultaneously.</li><li> Teamwork: Working effectively with others and sharing information and resources.</li><li> Communication: Utilizing effective verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul>
