We seek people who care deeply and are eager to work on solving problems bigger than themselves.<h2>The Role</h2>As an experienced full stack software engineer, you’ll take strong ownership of Neutreeno’s end-to-end systems and will be eager to do everything involved in creating a world-leading product. You’ll design, build, and scale our core services, drive best practices and play a crucial role in contributing to a high-performing software team &amp; our low-carbon future.You’ll work together with product, commercial and industrial engineering teams. Exceptional London-based candidates will be considered with a 2-day per week office requirement.<h3>The Work You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Build the future of decarbonisation by designing and implementing responsive, modular SPAs that handle complex emissions data and flow mapping. You'll work across the full stack from crafting intuitive front-end experiences to architecting scalable back-end systems</li><li>Own critical architectural decisions and shape our technical foundation as we scale. You'll write, deploy, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and AWS, work within our CI/CD pipelines to ship fast and reliably, and collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate ambitious product visions into production-ready code</li><li>Obsess over performance, quality, and craft. You'll identify and crush bottlenecks to deliver lightning-fast experiences, participate in code reviews that push the team forward, and stay hungry for emerging technologies and best practices that can give us an edge</li></ul><h3>The Minimum Qualifications You’ll Need</h3><ul><li>5+ years of experience building full-stack web applications end-to-end, growing products and owning complex systems</li><li>Proven experience building complex web applications, considering clean and simple architecture, security, scaling, performance and maintainability</li><li>Proven experience as an Individual Contributor with some combination of TypeScript (React, Nodejs, or both!), Apollo GraphQL, Python, AWS and Terraform</li><li>Strong product sense with ability to frame problems, prioritise bets and push the right ones forward</li><li>The ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience in early-stage startups (Seed to Series A), with a preference for those who have been part of an early software team that has built scalable software</li><li>Degree in Computer Science or other relevant technical focuses</li><li>Experience with cloud services and database technologies (e.g., Postgres and AWS)</li><li>Proficiency in working with CI/CD pipelines</li></ul><h3>What We Offer</h3>Compensations &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>£60,000 - £90,000 base pay dependent on your skills, qualifications and experience</li><li>Stock option plan so you can become a co-owner in the business</li><li>Company pension with NEST</li><li>Leading private health insurance with WPA (the only Which?
