The Senior Manager, Product Management will lead the strategic direction, execution, and continuous improvement of software and systems supporting the Asset Operations department at KCE, with a focus on SCADA systems and related integrations.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Work with the EVP, Asset Operations and key stakeholders from Technology and Engineering to guide vision and strategy for software and systems including SCADA, SCADA integrations, and cross-departmental initiatives related to operational excellence and building a strong digital foundation for KCE's growth as an IPP. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Develop and maintain a comprehensive SCADA roadmap aligned with business objectives and fleet growth.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Develop and maintain a comprehensive cross-departmental initiative roadmap aligned with business objectives and fleet growth.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Prioritize features and projects based on stakeholder input, business impact, and technical feasibility.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Lead the transition to standardized architectures and scalable processes to minimize incremental workload across departments as KCE's fleet expands.</li></ul></li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Product Management and Execution<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Lead project execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with requirements. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Drive user acceptance testing (UAT) and process improvements across SCADA and integrated products.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Implement best practices for documentation, code management, and release tracking.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Champion cross-functional collaboration to clarify requirements, resolve scope gaps, and improve delivery outcomes. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">All other duties as required.</li></ul></li></ul> WORK EXPERIENCE &amp; REQUIREMENTS: <ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">2+ years of experience in battery energy storage systems (BESS) and 8+ years of experience in energy.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or other technical field preferred, with an MBA and/or advanced degree in engineering, finance, business, or related management a plus.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Deep technical knowledge of lithium-ion batteries and the grid-scale energy storage industry.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Demonstrated experience in product management, project execution, and cross-functional leadership.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Strong understanding of SCADA systems, industrial protocols, and product integrations.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Proved ability to manage competing priorities, drive process improvements, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Excellent oral and written communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ability to successfully meet deadlines under pressure.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ability to work in a small team.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Willingness to travel up to 20% for site visits and company events.</li></ul> Physical Requirements: <ul><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-bottom:4px;">Prolonged periods of working at a computer.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-bottom:4px;">Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-bottom:4px;">Must have the ability to identify and distinguish colors</li></ul> </div>
