<p></p><p>The Procurement team at Argonne National Laboratory seeks applications from talented and highly-motivated individuals to join a team of specialists focused on providing procurement support and exceptional service to the scientists, engineers, and organizations across the Laboratory.</p><p></p><p>The Procurement Specialist facilitates the procurement process through the timely and economical acquisition of IT hardware, software, and services required by the scientific and operations organizations of Argonne National Laboratory within legal constraints of the regulatory procedures and statutes. A successful candidate would be expected to have experience delivering exceptional customer service as well as have attention to detail.</p><p></p><p>Provide support as needed to all aspects of acquisitions for IT hardware,  software, and services including but not limited to the following:</p><ul><li>Handle some of Argonne’s most complex and sensitive acquisitions, requiring an in-depth knowledge of contracting rules, regulations and procedures.</li><li>Performs a full range of pre- and post-award acquisition activities.
