Supervise and coordinate the activities of hourly skilled electrical technicians and salaried automation and controls engineers.   </p><p>  </p><p><b>Essential Functions/Key Deliverables</b> </p><p></p><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain a constant safety environment and provide necessary training updates while striving for zero incidents and full compliance with OSHA and Plant standards. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Develop and manage annual operating plans/budgets for the electrical maintenance and automation department.   </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Execute all electrical preventative maintenance, implement process controls, and define projects to drive plant KPIs and continuous improvement.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Organize and coordinate the maintenance breakdowns of all equipment within assigned responsibility including maintaining a necessary inventory of spare parts. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Hire, coach, review, promote, automation engineers and electrical technicians.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Provide regular training of personnel as needed to maintain new and existing equipment and ensure good GMP Principles are followed. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Comply with Environmental and Food Safety standards as set forth in plant policies/programs within Department responsibilities. </p></li></ul><p>  </p><p><b>Knowledge/Skills/Experience: </b> </p><p></p><ul><li><p>Associate degree, trade school or significant experience in a related/similar field  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong electrical and mechanical skills and ability to work through complex problems </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong communication and leadership skills – successful supervision in a manufacturing environment </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with Allen Bradley Programming, Robotics, and advanced automation  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with plant network and communication systems. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience managing high voltage and low voltage electrical distribution systems </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Must have basic skills with Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. </p></li></ul><p><b>Physical Demands</b> </p><p>N (Not Applicable) Activity is not applicable to this position. <br>O (Occasionally) Position requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0 - 2.5+ hrs/day) <br>F (Frequently) Position requires this activity from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5+ hrs/day) <br>C (Constantly) Position requires this activity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs/day) </p><p>Lift/Carry 10 lbs or less  F 11-25 lbs   F <br>Push/Pull 10 lbs or less  F 11-25 lbs   F <br>Stand O  <br>Walk O  <br>Sit O  <br>Manually Manipulate O  <br>Reach Outward O  <br>Reach Above Shoulder O <br>Climb O <br>Crawl O <br>Squat or Kneel O <br>Bend O </p><p>Other Physical Requirements <br>Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth) <br>Sense of Sound - Ability to understand conversational speaking <br>Sense of Touch <br>Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - per safety guidelines <br>Mobility to cover expansive manufacturing environment </p><p><b>Work Environment</b> <br> <br>Ability to work in an environment that can become very hot (temperature) depending on the weather. </p><p><b>Reasonable Accommodations Statement</b> </p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
