Driving continuous improvement of the lubrication and associated preventive program is included with support provided by the company.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities        </strong></p><ul><li>Assemble, cut, thread, and lay pipes while also offering assistance in the repair, installation, maintenance, and purchase of various equipment and parts.</li><li>Perform diagnosis, thorough troubleshooting, and repairs on motors, fans, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, rotating equipment and other pellet mill specific equipment.</li><li>Work with diverse machines and equipment, such as hand and power tools, drill presses saws, welding machines and other equipment necessary to carrying out maintenance and repair tasks.</li><li>Perform/coordinate preventive maintenance and lubrication as scheduled and maintain reports.</li><li>Perform and document required inspections of equipment and maintain equipment in good condition.</li><li>Analyze equipment performance and make necessary tooling and equipment changes to product desired throughput and quality results.</li><li>Identify corrective action and troubleshooting to improve reliability of equipment and escalate issues promptly for proper resolution by communicating operational information as required.</li><li>Perform rigging of equipment and follow all job safety procedures.</li><li>Operate mobile equipment as necessary.</li><li>Perform housekeeping to maintain the required safety standard.</li><li>Adhere to all plant environmental, health and safety guidelines, policies and practices</li><li>Other jobs as directed.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to work safely obeying OSHA and Enviva standards for practices</li><li>Be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders and provide own basic tools</li><li>Experience in preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, servicing mobile/heavy equipment</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and skills in hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment; basic understanding of types of lubricants and application of each</li><li>Ability to analyze process flow to identify issues.</li><li>Ability to cut, thread, and lay pipes; repair, install, maintain various types of equipment.</li><li>Ability to repair, maintain, troubleshoot pumps, conveyors, valves, cylinders, bearings, motors and other types of rotating equipment.</li><li>Meticulous, Attention to detail</li><li>Must demonstrate strong verbal and written skills</li><li>Experience with computerized maintenance management system</li><li>Skilled in use of Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook</li><li>Must be willing to complete training as required by Supervisor and specified by Enviva.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications - What Sets You Apart</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree a plus.</li><li>A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in manufacturing environment</li><li>Knowledge and experience with industrial electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings and welding</li><li>Has mechanical aptitude and able to read technical diagrams and schematics</li><li>Ability to develop and maintain accurate records</li><li>Proficient in mathematics and measurements</li><li>Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, fabrication, vibration analysis and precision alignment preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees </li><li>Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment </li><li>Ability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight to address unexpected site issues with or without notice</li><li>Must be available to work any shift/any day required; overtime frequent.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, bending, squatting, crawling, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day.</li><li>Must use required/provided PPE including but not limited to safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, safety toe boots &amp; hearing protection.</li><li>Must adhere to the health and safety standards outlined or trained by the company.</li><li>Able to work around moving equipment and machinery.</li><li>Able to pull and lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA.</li><li>Ability to work well in high places in excess of 100 feet, climb ladders, climb a crane, and use man lifts.</li><li>Ability to work in confined spaces.</li></ul><div><p>This position is not eligible for visa support.</p><p><strong>EEO Statement </strong></p><p>Enviva is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity (EEO) in any term, condition or privilege of employment.
