We are the world’s largest producer of sustainable wood pellets, which provide a low-carbon alternative to fossil fuels.</div>The Senior Functional Analyst will gather requirements, vet requirements, prepare solution design, support development, maintenance, and deployment of functionality related to Enviva’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Finance &amp; Operations (F&amp;O) ERP system. This is a techno-functional position and will work with our business customers and technical team members to determine and implement D365 related changes that improve business processes and business effectiveness.  Responsibilities<ul><li>Work with a business team to gather requirements.</li><li>Vet business requirements. Challenge requirements to adhere to the industry standard process and practice.</li><li>Design efficient and user-friendly solutions. Ensuring the solution is scalable, secure, and performs well. </li><li>Determine solutions to meet requirements blending out-of-the-box D365 capabilities and customizations.</li><li>Develop recommendations, business cases, and estimates for new functionality and changes to improve business processes and application performance.</li><li>Test and implement new D365 capabilities, customizations, and configurations.</li><li>Creating and maintaining architecture documentation, including design specifications, technical diagrams, and integration details. </li><li>Investigate D365 functionality, data, and interface problems. Determine and implement resolutions.</li><li>Work with business customers to identify improvements, alternatives, or new capabilities that would benefit the organization.</li><li>Document and estimate specific requests for new capabilities, considering the value each potential request brings to the organization.</li><li>Document D365 configuration, support information, and customizations.</li><li>Work with Enviva infrastructure, support, and solutions &amp; delivery teams to ensure proper unit, system, user acceptance, and performance testing.</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Finance, or Accounting.</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of in-depth functional experience with Dynamics AX or D365 or any ERP system, specifically Finance, Operations, &amp; Asset Management.</li><li>Experience in designing and implementing complex business solutions. </li><li>Strong experience as a D365 F&amp;O or any ERP techno-functional</li><li>In-depth knowledge of SQL. Ability to develop SQL queries to analyze data.</li><li>Experience with core D365 or any ERP capabilities including workflows, batch processing, data import/export framework, and roles/permissions.</li><li>Understanding of information technology and ERP standards, procedures, and best practices.</li><li>Ability to work with business customers and understand their processes and functions.</li><li>Ability and interest in staying current on D365 and related technologies.</li><li>Experience working with D365 or any ERP modules, interfaces, and technologies.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences with all levels of the Enviva organization.</li><li>Ability to document requirements, recommendations, estimates, and system information in a clear and concise manner.</li><li>Experience with estimating work and schedules.</li><li>Experience working in a team environment and ability to work independently within stated priorities.</li><li>Ability to investigate data, application, and processes to determine problem source in complex environment and identify and implement potential changes and solutions.</li><li>An understanding of basic accounting topics, including GL, AR, AP, FA, and Budgeting</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart<ul><li>Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform specifically as it relates to use of D365.</li><li>Deep financial expertise and experience.</li></ul>Travel requirements<ul><li>Ability to travel to domestic or international locations, including day trips and overnight.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Ability to work off-hours, including evenings and weekends on short notice.</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Primarily computer-based work requiring extended periods of sitting at a computer, typing, but may also including standing, walking, carrying or lifting (up to 50 lbs) in support of team tasks.</li></ul><div>This position is not eligible for visa support.EEO Statement Enviva is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity (EEO) in any term, condition or privilege of employment.
