This role is responsible for executing core analytical work—such as portfolio performance analysis, risk and scenario analysis, market research, and data reporting—that informs investment decisions and portfolio management.Portfolio Analytics &amp; Market Research<ul><li>Support the Global Portfolio Analytics Lead in executing core portfolio analytics including performance tracking, risk assessment, historical analysis, scenario analysis, and basic stress testing across regions and sectors.</li><li>Prepare country notes, market briefs, and economic analyses under guidance, for review by senior stakeholders including the CIO.</li><li>Compile, clean, and analyze financial and economic data to support forecasting, benchmarking, and portfolio insights.</li></ul>Data, Tools &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Work with portfolio management and analytics tools (e.g., eFront or similar systems) to extract, validate, and maintain accurate portfolio data.</li><li>Support the development and upkeep of dashboards, scorecards, and recurring portfolio reports.</li><li>Coordinate with Finance and regional teams to ensure consistent data capture and reporting processes.</li><li>Assist the Global Portfolio Analytics Lead in testing and documenting enhancements to analytical tools, including early exploration of automation and AI-enabled analytics.</li></ul>Portfolio Monitoring &amp; Special Analysis<ul><li>Assist in ongoing portfolio monitoring, including performance tracking, variance analysis, and data quality checks.</li><li>Support analytical work for special situations (e.g., exits, restructurings, refinancing, expedited approvals) under close supervision.</li><li>Identify emerging trends, risks, or data issues and escalate them to the Global Investment Analytics Lead.</li></ul>Learning, Knowledge &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>Learn Acumen’s portfolio analytics frameworks, investment processes, and systems through hands-on execution.</li><li>Document analytical approaches, assumptions, and outputs to support knowledge sharing and continuity.</li></ul>Qualification &amp; Skills:<ul><li>At least 2 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, portfolio analytics, consulting, economics, finance, or related fields.</li><li>Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfort working with financial and economic datasets.</li><li>Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with dashboards or data visualization tools; exposure to portfolio systems (e.g., eFront) is a plus.</li><li>Exposure to working with AI Tools for investment management</li><li>Ability to translate analysis into clear, structured outputs for senior review.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage priorities with guidance.</li><li>Interest in global markets, development finance, and impact investing.</li><li>Self-reflective, values-driven, and aligned with Acumen’s mission and values</li><li>Permanent authorization to work in India</li></ul>Deadline to applyAcumen is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
