<div>This position is responsible for daily transactions for AWCC visitors in the ticket booth. Admissions duties include greeting visitors, correctly inputting daily transactions of individuals, commercial tour operators, cash handling, daily cleaning tasks, operating gates, handling high volume of guests, relaying rules and regulations of facility to all guests and special event participants. Qualifications Minimum:<ul><li> High school diploma or equivalent, AND</li><li> One-year retail sales or cash transaction experience.</li><li> One-year customer service experience. </li><li> Valid Driver’s License.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li> Current CPR and first aid certificates.</li><li> One-year cash handling experience in a fast-paced environment.</li><li> Ability to follow instruction without supervision. </li><li> Excellent customer service skills. </li></ul> Employment Time Frames: April 12, 2026 - October 03, 2026April 26, 2026 - October 17, 2026May 10, 2026 - October 31, 2026</div>

The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) is a sanctuary dedicated to preserving Alaska&rsquo;s wildlife through conservation, research, education and quality animal care. AWCC takes in injured and orphaned animals year-round and provides spacious enclosures and quality animal care. Animals that cannot be released into the wild are given a permanent home at the center.
