<div><span style="font-size:16px;">The Fleet Support Engineer on the Vehicle Development team is a critical, hands-on technical expert responsible for maximizing the operational uptime and reliability of our regional robotaxi fleet. This role serves as the first line of escalation for complex, on-site technical issues covering all major vehicle systems.</span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will:</h3><ul><li>Act as the primary technical expert for all regional escalations, diagnosing complex issues across all vehicle subsystems (chassis, powertrain, compute, sensing, and networking).</li><li>Perform deep root-cause analysis using logs, vehicle diagnostics, and fleet data to resolve high-impact issues and prevent recurrence.</li><li>Partner closely with HQ FSE team to improve diagnostics, tooling, and issue detection capabilities.</li><li>Lead field validation efforts, including hardware/software bring-up and functional testing for new components and system updates.</li><li>Develop and maintain scalable troubleshooting guides, SOPs, and countermeasures to improve repair efficiency and fleet reliability.</li><li>Support operational needs through occasional travel</li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering </li><li>At least 6 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles, with hands-on exposure to sensors</li><li>Understanding of vehicle hardware/software architectures, including communications, diagnostics, and safe troubleshooting of low/high voltage systems Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS), and how to safely troubleshoot</li><li>Proven ability to perform holistic system-level problem solving and drive issues down to root cause at the component level</li><li>Experience reading and interpreting schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector end views/pinouts</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience with electric vehicle technology.</li><li>Experience with remotely supporting vehicle troubleshooting. </li><li>Knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics tools.</li></ul><br>
