This role is hands-on and field-focused, with limited design responsibility, and requires strong practical experience developed through electrician or technical roles. High-voltage systems are not included in the scope of this position.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Supervise and manage daily activities of electricians and electrical engineers across shifts.</li><li>Maintain and support plant electrical systems up to <strong>480V</strong> (high-voltage systems excluded).</li><li>Perform daily inspections of electrical equipment and develop preventive maintenance plans.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment failures and abnormal operating conditions.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve plant power grid issues, including distribution panels, switchgear, and feeders.</li><li>Ensure safe, reliable, and continuous operation of factory electrical systems.</li><li>Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.</li><li>Support electrical equipment installation, start-up, and system optimization.</li><li>Coordinate maintenance activities with production, facilities, and EHS teams.</li><li>Enforce electrical safety standards, NEC requirements, and company procedures.<br><br></li></ul><h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li>Valid <strong>state-recognized electrician license</strong> (Illinois or equivalent).</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>industrial electrical systems up to 480V</strong>.</li><li>Practical background developed through field work as an electrician or electrical technician.</li><li>Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.</li><li>Experience supervising or leading electricians or technical staff.</li><li>Willingness to work night shifts or rotating shifts as required.<br><br></li></ul><h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li>Prior experience in factory or manufacturing electrical maintenance.</li><li>Basic electrical system design or modification experience.</li><li>Familiarity with MCCs, motors, VFDs, and industrial control panels.</li><li>Experience working in a 24/7 or shift-based manufacturing environment.</li><li>Being bilingual (English + Mandarin or other languages) is a plus.<br><br></li></ul><h3><strong>Working Conditions</strong></h3><ul><li>On-site role in an industrial manufacturing environment.</li><li>Hands-on supervisory position.</li><li>Shift work or night shift availability preferred.</li></ul><p> </p><p>The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 –$120,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits.
