This role focuses on factory air conditioning, air handling units, dehumidification systems, and chilled water systems. The position is hands-on and equipment-focused, with future responsibility to lead a team of engineers and technicians.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial HVAC systems, including:</li><ul><li>Factory air conditioning systems</li><li>Air Handling Units (AHU)</li><li>Desiccant Dehumidification Units (DHU)</li><li>Chilled water systems and chillers</li></ul><li>Perform daily inspections and establish preventive maintenance plans for HVAC equipment.</li><li>Diagnose and repair common HVAC equipment failures and abnormal operating conditions.</li><li>Maintain mechanical systems related to HVAC, including piping and ductwork.</li><li>Support HVAC equipment commissioning, start-up, and system optimization.</li><li>Ensure stable and reliable HVAC operation to support manufacturing processes.</li><li>Develop and improve HVAC maintenance standards, SOPs, and equipment documentation.</li><li>Coordinate HVAC activities with facilities, production, and EHS teams.</li><li>Support future team leadership of HVAC engineers and technicians.</li><li>Participate in shift coverage or night shift operations as required.</li></ul><h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>industrial HVAC equipment</strong>, including air conditioning or dehumidification systems.</li><li>Solid understanding of HVAC system operation principles and equipment structures.</li><li>Experience performing routine maintenance and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.</li><li>Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair common HVAC equipment failures.</li><li>Experience in factory or industrial equipment operation and maintenance.</li><li>Ability to read and understand HVAC and mechanical drawings.<br><br></li></ul><h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li>Experience with <strong>desiccant dehumidification units (DHU)</strong> and <strong>chilled water systems</strong>.</li><li>Experience in manufacturing, battery, semiconductor, electronics, or pharmaceutical facilities.</li><li>Mechanical background with experience in <strong>piping and ductwork maintenance</strong>.</li><li>Prior experience supervising or mentoring engineers or technicians.</li><li>Willingness to work night shifts or rotating shifts.</li><li>HVAC-related certifications or licenses are a plus.<br><br></li></ul><h3><strong>Working Conditions</strong></h3><ul><li>On-site role in an industrial manufacturing environment.</li><li>Hands-on equipment-focused position.</li><li>Shift work or night shift availability preferred.</li><li> </li></ul><div><p><span>The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 –$120,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits.
