The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Business Development Manager to grow and support our customer base in Australia. The candidate needs to be ideally situated in or in the surrounds of Griffith, one of the core regions to our existing customer base, and where there is still significant room for growth. You’ll work closely with growers, offering Aerobotics’ innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. This is more than a sales role, it’s an opportunity to be at the forefront of AgTech innovation, helping shape the future of farming. What You'll Do<ul><li>Execute sales strategies that drive growth and profitability</li><li>Sell &amp; deliver products to a wide range of horticultural customers</li><li>Provide hands-on product demonstrations and training at farms and offices</li><li>Report to the GM, APAC and support the execution of regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets aligned with Aerobotics’ forecasts.</li><li>Optimize the customer decision journey so as to minimize spend and resources, and to maximize purchases and repurchases</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams in South Africa to ensure seamless service delivery</li><li>Partner with the Product team to uncover new customer needs &amp; inform product development</li><li>Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities</li><li>Regular travel within the region to meet customers, and at times, attend conferences as and where necessary.</li></ul> What You'll Need<ul><li>2-5 years of experience in Sales, Account Management or Customer Success is preferred.
