Join our world-class team today.  Position Specific DescriptionThe Property Accounting team at Financial Center of Excellence is looking for Accountant I to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and take ownership of various projects by adding value through critical thinking and inter-personal skills.   The ideal candidate will be able to:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>This role requires an understanding of GAAP and FERC as well as strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail</li><li>Work closely with NEET Development, Engineering &amp; Construction, Operations, Business Management and Business services teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with policies</li><li>Review master data accuracy for recording new assets such as WBS structure, company codes, asset estimates in line with federal and local regulation and company’s capital policies</li><li>Ability to quickly establish priorities and meet all assigned deadlines related to the FCOE accounting close d everyday tasks</li><li>Prepare and present timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc reports</li><li>Improve, develop, and implement new processes to manage the rapidly growing business </li></ul> The most valuable skills for success in this role will be:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Demonstrated ability to analyze and explain complex problems and provide solutions</li><li>Strong financial analysis and presentation skills</li><li>Expertise in SAP, MS Suite, PowerPlan and Workiva</li><li>Strong and flexible team player</li><li>Highly organized and deadline driven individual</li><li>Continuous process improvement mind</li></ul>
