You will work closely with our other specialists and provide technical design input, co-ordination and project delivery activities across major Rail projects in collaboration with the local and national business.Key Accountabilities<ul><li>Providing leadership and proactively collaborate with team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables</li><li>Providing expert advice and demonstrate advanced technical skills, ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC</li><li>Demonstrating high level project management skills while accomplishing project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely manner</li><li>Actively contributing to the commercial success of projects and the team and contributing to successful business development</li></ul>About You<ul><li>15+ years of industry experience in project management or design management of rail infrastructure projects</li><li>Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent</li><li>CPEng/RPEQ</li><li>Proven experience of managing projects and design delivery across multiple projects</li><li>Experience of leading and contributing to bid preparation and providing technical input across all rail disciplines</li><li>Demonstrated leadership and management skills</li><li>High level consulting and client management skills</li><li>Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment</li></ul>In return, SMEC offers you the benefits that come from working in a global multidisciplinary consultancy in an environment where your fresh ideas and enthusiasm will be welcomed and rewarded.How to ApplyTo apply, click on the "Apply Now" link and follow the prompts.
