The candidate must have experience in project accounting and financial monitoring, ensuring compliance with approved financial procedures, project requirements, and client guidelines<ul><li>Monitor and maintain accurate project financial records.</li><li>Support day-to-day project accounting activities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with approved financial procedures and reporting requirements.</li><li>Coordinate with the project team on financial matters as required.</li><li>Assist the Resident Engineer with financial monitoring and reporting.</li></ul>With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.Suitable applicants will have/be:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized institute. A Master’s degree in Accounts will be preferred.</li><li>Minimum five (05) years of relevant experience in a similar field.</li><li>Experience in project accounting and financial monitoring.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under defined supervision.</li></ul>SMEC is an equal opportunity employer.
