The company has world class laboratories and facilities, and a highly dynamic, multi-disciplinary work environment.Teledyne Scientific Company (TSC) has an opening for a full time (40 hours a week) summer intern position in the Fab Operations group in the Electronics Division starting May/June 2026 until August/September 2026.  Essential duties:<ul><li>Work with team members in a cleanroom environment to develop and characterize advanced semiconductor fabrication processes</li><li>Assist in the design of experiments for cleanroom process module development</li><li>Perform metrology using standard cleanroom characterization tools and assist in data analysis</li><li>Assist in the development of statistical process controls for cleanroom process modules</li><li>Document and report on development efforts</li></ul>Desired skills, experience, and qualities:<ul><li>Previous knowledge and experience using cleanroom tools (lithography, deposition, etch…)</li><li>Experience with cleanroom metrology tools (profilometry, scanning electron microscope, ellipsometry…)  </li><li>Basic understanding of semiconductor devices (bipolar and field effect transistors) and process flows is a plus</li><li>Basic understanding of design of experiments and statistical process control is a plus</li><li>Well organized and detail oriented</li><li>Good communication skills and inquisitive mind</li></ul>Education: Electrical engineering undergraduate students with some previous hands-on cleanroom experienceCitizenship RequirementsDue to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.#TS&amp;I  Salary Range: Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
