And that’s where you come in.About the Position: The purpose of this role is to perform effective maintenance services under Annual Maintenance contract of Metro projects at Hitachi Rail and ensure System upkeep /availability for smooth Metro operations. Role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Metro environment. Position will be based on site locations near to Metro project and candidate should be open to move from one location / project to other based on business requirement.Key Accountabilities: <ul><li>Ensure the execution of maintenance activities on site in accordance with the contractual KPIs</li><li>System expert level support to NMRC staff for routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.</li><li>To conduct supervision of maintenance as per system checklist and troubleshoot during failure.</li><li>Coordinate with ATS design team and product experts overseas conduct technical investigations &amp; diagnostic test to resolve critical issues and root cause analysis (RCA).</li><li>To conduct analysis of failures, prepare reports, routine business communications.</li><li>Download regular ATS logs, analyse and investigate error &amp; warnings to fix the issues.</li><li>Verify system configuration, upload software updates and ensure smooth functioning of servers &amp; workstations.</li><li>Ensure rebooting of server/machines according to periodic schedule.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation of maintenance and troubleshooting.</li><li>Follow safety precautions, work permit guidelines of Metro rail while working.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities, including testing procedures, equipment usage, and maintenance documentation.</li><li>Perform shift and emergency duties when required</li><li>This role requires 24x7 support to customers on a shift basis (telephonic support other than normal working hours) and hence night hours working sometimes.</li><li>Ensure monitoring of the day-to-day maintenance performance and provide technical reporting to the Client.</li><li>Ensure the availability of adequate stock and repair process activation</li></ul>Key Experience Preferred:<ul><li>Post qualification experience of at least 05 Years for Degree holder or 07 years Diploma holder in ATS in Metro / Railways Signalling.</li><li>Working knowledge of windows, Linux or UNIX operating system</li><li>knowledge of computer hardware, software, and hands-on experience of OS installation.</li><li>Working knowledge of switches, routers and servers.</li><li>Working knowledge of Windows Server and working with server applications</li><li>Working knowledge on Data Communication Network (TCP/IP protocol), wi-fi protocol etc.</li><li>Excellent client-facing and internal <a href="https://resources.workable.com/project-manager-interview-questions">communication skills</a></li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Able to work under pressure and efficient trouble shooting skills</li></ul>Education/Qualifications Preferred: <ul><li>Degree OR Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science / Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.</li></ul>Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
