We have an enjoyable, dynamic and collaborative work environment.</li></ul> What you’ll do<ul><li>Review, code, and enter a high volume of vendor invoices into the accounting system with high accuracy</li><li>Perform three-way matching (Purchase Order, Receiving Report, and Invoice) to ensure consistency and resolve any discrepancies</li><li>For service-based invoices, ensure that invoice amounts and terms align with the approved Purchase Order (PO) before processing</li><li>Prepare and execute weekly payment runs via ACH, wire transfers, and checks.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, reconcile monthly statements, and maintain updated vendor files (including W-9s)</li><li>Assist the accounting team with month-end closing tasks, including accruals and account reconciliations</li><li>Assist in the preparation and filing of annual 1099 forms.</li><li>Act as the primary administrator for the corporate card platform (Brex), issuing new cards and setting spend limits</li><li>Review all credit card transactions daily to ensure they are assigned to the correct General Ledger (GL) codes, departments, and projects</li><li>Perform monthly reconciliations of the corporate credit card statements against the GL to ensure the balance sheet is accurate</li><li>Follow up with cardholders to collect missing receipts and ensure all spending adheres to the company’s Travel &amp; Expense (T&amp;E) policy</li></ul> What we are looking for<ul><li>Growth-minded: Experienced in their speciality field but  hungry for continuous  learning and improvement</li><li>Industry-seasoned: has already spent time supporting the electric power / cleantech industries</li><li>Self-starter: willing to dig into new concepts, make recommendations with limited information, and be highly effective with minimal direction and supervision</li><li>Systems thinker: a love for efficiency, ensuring that processes work well together to streamline commercial operations</li><li>Focused: we are a small team with many competing priorities. To be effective in this role you need to be able to isolate where you can have the greatest impact and rigorously prioritize.</li><li>Willingness to travel: we operate throughout the United States, Canada, India and Australia and employees are required to travel from time to time.</li></ul> Required Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>Associate / bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance preferred</li><li>3+ years in a dedicated Accounts Payable role.
