We have an enjoyable, dynamic and collaborative work environment.</li></ul> What you’ll do<ul><li>Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring all journal entries and reconciliations are completed timely</li><li>Apply ASC 606 standards to our revenue streams, managing deferred revenue and complex contract terms</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements for management review</li><li>Assist with the transition of our accounting function from an outsourcing to an in-sourcing model</li><li>Assist with the implementation &amp; testing of new accounting systems &amp; with the development of a SOX framework</li><li>Own Accounts Receivable (A/R) and assist with payroll as needed</li><li>Assist in managing equity-based compensation accounting and cap table maintenance via platforms like Carta</li><li>Monitor state nexus and ensure compliance with sales tax and franchise tax filings</li><li>Prepare schedules and provide support for external audits</li><li>Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in special projects as needed</li></ul> What we are looking for<ul><li>Growth-minded: Experienced in their speciality field but  hungry for continuous  learning and improvement</li><li>Industry-seasoned: has already spent time supporting the electric power / cleantech industries</li><li>Self-starter: willing to dig into new concepts, make recommendations with limited information, and be highly effective with minimal direction and supervision</li><li>Systems thinker: a love for efficiency, ensuring that processes work well together to streamline commercial operations</li><li>Focused: we are a small team with many competing priorities. To be effective in this role you need to be able to isolate where you can have the greatest impact and rigorously prioritize.</li><li>Willingness to travel: we operate throughout the United States, Canada, India and Australia and employees are required to travel from time to time.</li></ul> Required Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting</li><li>4+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a solid foundation in US GAAP and Series A/B startup experience is the "gold standard" for this role</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in financial reporting and accounting operations</li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks while maintaining high attention to detail</li><li>Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on accuracy</li><li>Interest in leveraging new technologies and automation to drive efficiency</li><li>Manufacturing &amp; Project Accounting experience are a plus</li></ul> Next StepsClick on the Apply button to start your journey and join the Infravision team today.
