<div> <img src="https://assets.jazz.co/customers/customer_20231218144746_GJWRLP2AOR2MLHY3/layout/20240502134600-image.png"><div style="text-align:center;">Job Description – Construction Manager, Melink Solar</div><div> Job Summary:</div>Melink Solar, a leading commercial solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company specializing in designing and building solar arrays, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Manager to join our growing team.  Our Construction Managers oversee and coordinate the various aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that schedules, budgets, customer and Melink Solar requirements are followed.  This position will report to the Melink Solar Director of Operations. Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li style="margin-left:32px;">Manages all sub-contractors for timely completion, quality, ensure project is built according to plans, specifications, schedule and budget.</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Directs and supervises field personnel with daily schedules including people, equipment, materials, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Read, interpret and understand all project documentation such as insurance, permitting, project scheduling, QA/QC requirements, blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, and assembly instruction</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Document delays/changes; Daily Completion of RFI's</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Maintain and monitor quality standards</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Ability to make mathematical computations for load calculations</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Coordinate meetings, or contact permitting, building, public works, fire, and police officials as required</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Must assist in field installations when required</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Up to 75-100% travel required (regional and national)</li></ul><div style="margin-left:24px;">Required Skills/Abilities:</div><ul><li style="margin-left:32px;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.  </li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.  </li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems.</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings.</li></ul><div style="margin-left:24px;">Education and Experience:</div><ul><li style="margin-left:32px;">2+ Years in related position</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Experience in electrical underground conduit and terminations</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Must have strong leadership skills</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Experience working on 1MW+ Solar Projects</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic.</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Strong organizational, follow-through, interpersonal, and communication and team building skills.</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Proficiency with reading blue prints, plans, specs, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Highly focused, organized, motivated &amp; passionate individual</li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Knowledgeable of electrical codes(AC and DC), occupational hazards connected with electrical work and ensuring compliance with Company safety policies and OSHA and/or MSHA safety standards</li></ul><h1 style="margin-left:16px;">Physical Requirements:</h1><ul><li style="margin-left:32px;">Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.  </li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. </li><li style="margin-left:32px;">Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers. </li></ul> </div>
