Are you ready to be a part of a team committed to changing the world?</p></div><h2><strong>Who You Are</strong></h2><p>The Senior Finance ERP Consultant will play a critical role in bridging the gap between the Finance function and Data Systems/ERP team. This individual will possess deep functional knowledge of the Sage X3 Finance modules, act as a subject matter expert (SME), and support end-to-end financial processes to ensure system accuracy, compliance, and business efficiency. This is a temporary consulting opportunity. </p><p>This position is divided into three primary areas of focus:</p><h2><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></h2><h3><strong>1. Cost &amp; Stock Accounting</strong></h3><ul><li>Oversee Inventory and Cost accounts: Ensure integrity and accuracy across all stock-related financial data.</li><li>Manage standard cost exceptions: Monitor and resolve discrepancies in standard cost setups to ensure accurate item valuation in Sage X3.</li><li>Manage standard cost comparison analysis: Perform periodic reviews comparing standard vs. actual costs to identify cost variances and improvement opportunities.</li><li>Manage work order variances: Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances from production orders to support accurate cost reporting.</li><li>Manage BOM and Routing costs: Maintain and validate Bill of Material and Routing cost structures to ensure accurate cost rollups.</li><li>Manage &amp; reconcile stock and WIP accounts: Reconcile inventory and WIP balances with the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.</li><li>Manage relevant costing common data: Oversee and maintain costing-related master data such as cost types, valuation methods, and accounting codes in Sage X3.</li></ul><h3><strong>2. Finance System &amp; Process Ownership</strong></h3><ul><li>Functional Ownership: Act as Finance functional owner for Sage ERP, helping the team map basic accounting functions to functionality within Sage.</li><li>Project Liaison: Liaison with Data Systems team in implementation and testing on Finance-related cross functional projects.</li><li>Structure Maintenance: Define and maintain a chart of accounts, dimensions, and reporting structures.</li><li>Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams to align financial processes with business goals and Sage enhancements.</li></ul><h3><strong>3.
